The Miss Africa USA Pageant is held under the auspices of the

The African Women’s Development Foundation Inc.

This charity organization was founded on the basis of empowering women with the tools, knowledge, skills and support to take on humanitarian causes and support the needy and disadvantaged. The AWDF Inc is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered with the State of Georgia under the 501c3 tax exempt status. The AWDF Inc is built on a global perspective in dealing with the effects of poverty on humankind. We focus on using the spirit of giving to make a difference in the global village that we all are part of.

Your tax-deductible donation will help the organization to continue providing assistance and educational opportunities to people in Africa and Africans here in the US who would otherwise have nowhere to turn to. In addition to scholarships that have been granted to women affiliated with the pageant, we wish to expand our scholarship base and provide additional scholarships, educational aids (books, classroom material, computers, etc), and monetary assistance to women and children in different African countries. We also support several medical causes (including causes to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa) to help support the health care of our less fortunate brothers and sisters here and in different parts of Africa.
