I’m a first year student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. I received my Master’s degree last year from Virginia Commonwealth University, and my Bachelor’s degree in 2004 from American University in Washington, DC. Many people would describe me as the sweet girl next door that always has a smile on her face. I love to make people laugh and spend time with close family and friends.

In my spare time some hobbies that I enjoy are modeling, dancing, reading and exercising. I am very active in my community and school activities. I was a member of my school’s African Student Association, Dance Team, Student Government, and Black Student Union. I also volunteer with the Legal Aid Society of D.C. and mentor students in Southeast, D.C. I am very ambitious and I strive for the top in everything that I do. I am a big proponent of education, as this has been instilled in me by my mother who was very strict on education ever since I was a young child.

My platform focuses on education and healthcare for all Africans, but African women in particular who are often deprived of these necessities. I am confident that I have the characteristics needed to represent Miss Africa U.S.A. and if I win the title I will make Africa as a nation proud of what I will accomplish with the title.
