School/Institution: Syracuse university (graduated) Major/minor: Masters in Public Administration/international development (MPA) Giving back : Latin American w Project-I help research on potential donors. Wezekano organization- We are raising funds for the reconstruction of a public school in Nyeri New Sudan Initiative: Contributed ideas to benefit the’ Girls Raising’ campaign. SU Center for Research on Conflict and Collaboration- As a conflict Management Associate, I co hosted the First Year Forums Outreach. Anajali Community School for AIDs orphan sin Kibera Slums: Lead a team of volunteers in fundraising and donating food, desks and school suppliers. As Vice President of Maxwell Africa Caucus, I facilitated weekly African Film Series& Symposiums, aimed at promoting the positive aspects of Africa. Obtained certification as a community based HIV based trainer. Five-Year Aspirational Plan: In the next five years I want and pray I will have to established my own nonprofit organization whose aim will be to carryout various women empowering projects .i.e. providing sanitary towels for girls in low income areas, giving scholarships to children who have single parents or those in dire need and supporting women, especially those recovering from drug/alcohol abuse restart their lives among other projects.
