Giving Back:

Currently, I spend most of my time as a member of a non-for-profit organization (Ladies of Prestige, Inc) comprised of 15 college young women whose main objective is to implement transformation within the lives of young girls living in high risk, oppressed environments. Our mission is to change these young girls into educated, well-rounded young women by conducting various educational and social programs which will fulfill their academic, social, and mental needs and help to stimulate their minds and guide their actions.  During my years as an undergraduate student I have also worked with the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and  National Associations of he Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) assisting them in the efforts of social change. As a firm believer in education, I have spent time volunteering at a local  Washington DC public charter school teaching African American Studies. This subject taught students the important of their history and developed self identity and self-esteem.

Five-Year Aspirational Plan: In the next five years I would hope that I have made a difference by meeting my God given obligations on Earth. I plan to continue to work with Ladies of Prestige, Inc in their efforts towards social change. I plan to work with more organizations that are specifically geared toward the development and preservation of Africa and its culture. By God's grace and mercy, I plan to develop a not-for-profit called Queens of Africa or Coalition of Queens. This organization will consist of pass and present queens of African countries coming together and strategies a plan to assist in rebuilding Africa.

Country: Liberia
