School/Institution: Kennesaw State University Major/minor: International Affairs/International Business Giving Back: I have volunteered with organization such as Must-Ministries to provide homeless people with basic necessities. I have participated in a March for Dimes event aiming at raising awareness on infant mortality related issues. I have also volunteered with an NGO called Africagir and was in charge to design plans of action to address issues such as the spreading of HIV/AIDS through work migrants but also the exploitation and ill treatment of Koranic pupils in West Africa.
Five-Year Aspirational Plan: I wish to complete an MA in Agricultural Leadership and work as a coordinator in chief of an Agricultural Development Program which I would design and implement under the umbrella of the UN or the AU. I am very much interested in actively participating in the enhancement of agricultural production and sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Country you are representing: Mauritania Platform: creating an "agricultural Bank" aimed at collecting supplies such as seeds, mechanized tools, fertilizers and natural pesticides to distrubute to one community possibly in Mauritania or Mali. Also finding volunteers to take a trip in that community and train farmers on the effective technics of production.
