We welcome all those who wish to volunteer their time and expertise in helping make the Miss Africa USA Scholarship Pageant better and better. Running the pageant is a year-long affair so we welcome volunteers throughout the year. Our volunteer opportunities include:

Administrative Assistants - Help with secretarial duties, phone and email correspondence, etc
Audio/Visual Specialists - Help with sound and lighting by assisting dj's, photographers, videographers, and stage managers
Attendee Escorts - Escort contestants and delegates during evening wear rounds at preliminaries and national finals. Males only needed for this category
Back Stage Assistants - Help delegates prepare for different categories and other back stage duties
Charity/Scholarship Committee - Help secure sponsors for our charities and scholarship fund. Help administer our charity alliances and scholarship awards.
Country Coordinators - Help in finding contestants, artists, and sponsors from each individual African country.
Graphic Arts/Desktop Publishing - Help in developing pageant ads and other printed materials
Hostesses - Provide assistance to pageant guests and VIP's. Females specifically needed for this role.
Make Up Artists - Help with contestants makeup and styling
Marketing/Advertising Committee - Help in advertising pageant and pageant-related events using internet, print, radio, television, and other mediums.
Recruiters - Help find and recruit eligible contestants for the pageant
Sponsorship Committee - Help secure sponsors for the pageant and the pageant's charity and scholarship funds.
Stage Hands - Help with stage setup and management
Transportation Assistants - Help provide transportation during pageant events
Web Site Developers - Help with development and day-to-day running of Miss Africa web site and other pageant-related web sites.
